Injection molding
has dramatically changed the technology of rubber molding over the
last thirty years. The need to produce rubber parts with higher
failure thresholds using short cycle times has required higher temperatures
and molding pressures. These more rigorous curing parameters require
the use of high- performance mold release agents. Chem-Trend's
release agents, specifically engineered for the demands of injection
molding applications, meet these challenges head on. These products
provide customers with better part surface quality and a dramatic
reduction of release agent transfer-related defects, such as knit
lines and splits. Uniquely bonded parts, engineered to bring various
alloy metals and plastic inserts together with rubber, have benefited
from Chem-Trend's proprietary release formulations that provide
little or no transfer - the key to solving bondability issues while
simultaneously providing superb anti-mold fouling properties.
